Trans Woman Killed After Being Run Over Multiple Times (KC church parking lot-possible hate crime)

A transgender woman is dead tonight after repeatedly being run over near a Kansas City church parking lot. Police say Tamara Dominguez was killed in what may have been a hate crime. Authorities say it's too early to say that for sure, but they do know Dominguez was killed in a savage early morning car attack.

Friends and family have begun laying flowers at the site of the crime as they try to come to grips with her death. One friend, Juan Rendon, told us it's hard to believe Dominguez is gone.

"I was like they are playing they are joking because she liked to play like that," Rendon said. This was no joke. Dominguez was killed in a brutal act of violence.

Witnesses say they saw a black SUV, a Chevy Avalanche at the scene. Police say the driver initially hit Dominguez, then ran over her body at least two more times.

10. In my lifetime time the US has become a very hateful country, so many people filled with

hatred and bigotry for so many things. I blame a lot of it on hate radio/tv/internet and also fundy churches, as well as hateful and bigoted politicians, F'ed up cops and a crappy judicial system. And schools that do nothing about bullying and hatefulness toward anyone, often because sometimes some school administrators/teachers are bullies too and carry hatefulness around IMO.

And that's just for starters. Many in the US today seem to relish hatred, bigotry and racism, they thrive on it as the essence of their lives. It's become disgusting in my lifetime.

It's always been there, but now seems so much more prevalent, One good thing is we have better communications today so more of the shit gets seen by the masses than the back page of some local paper, if even there.

I do think it's always been there, all types of hatred. But today it's more visible, out from under the rug, a very good thing.
