Trump Supporters Think Obama is A Muslim Born in Another Country

Source: PPP

PPP's newest national poll finds Donald Trump just continuing to grow his lead over the GOP field. He is at 29% to 15% for Ben Carson, 9% for Jeb Bush, 8% for Carly Fiorina, 7% for Marco Rubio, 6% each for Ted Cruz and John Kasich, and 5% each for Mike Huckabee and Scott Walker. That group makes a pretty clear top 9. Rounding out the field are Chris Christie and Rick Santorum at 2%, Jim Gilmore, Rand Paul, and Rick Perry at 1%, and Lindsey Graham, Bobby Jindal, and George Pataki at less than 1%.

Our new poll finds that Trump is benefiting from a GOP electorate that thinks Barack Obama is a Muslim and was born in another country, and that immigrant children should be deported. 66% of Trump's supporters believe that Obama is a Muslim to just 12% that grant he's a Christian. 61% think Obama was not born in the United States to only 21% who accept that he was. And 63% want to amend the Constitution to eliminate birthright citizenship, to only 20% who want to keep things the way they are.

Trump's beliefs represent the consensus among the GOP electorate. 51% overall want to eliminate birthright citizenship. 54% think President Obama is a Muslim. And only 29% grant that President Obama was born in the United States. That's less than the 40% who think Canadian born Ted Cruz was born in the United States.

So only 29% of the GOP electorate think Obama was born in the United States while 40% of the GOP electorate think Ted Cruz was born in the United States even though Ted Cruz acknowledges that he was born in Canada.

Feel the stupid flow through you!!

USA! USA! USA!

I mean they are dumb enough to support Trump. This means they will believe anything. Black helicopters, Fema camps and all.

... and supposedly an American citizen if he was as noted here:

http://www.rawstory.com/2011/04/arizona-birther-law-to-accept-circumcision-papers-as-proof-of-citizenship/

Disregarding that people like me were born and circumcised about that time frame in Indonesia. Granted I was born in a Dutch hospital there, but that doesn't mean Obama couldn't have done the same thing, which we all know is crap with the papers he has from Hawaii anyway. It's really hilarious to see the right trying to build their elaborate theories about citizenship and what supports it and what doesn't.

It's part of their religion, same for Jewish people.

I dated a white girl who assumed I must be muslim until she..er...saw something she didn't expect to see. It turned out we were both Catholic and my family immigrated to America a good 20 years before hers.

silly people...

People who live in glass houses and all that. I have no room to criticize them. I believe Trump is an alien being from another planet. Not even a planet in our solar system.

... "Stupid is as stupid does." Still not quite sure what that means, but it seems to apply here. Interestingly, these mental defectives have no problem with Cruz, who was born in Canada. Go figure.

Quick civics lesson, you drooling idiots: If one parent is an American citizen, which Obama's mother most definitely was, then it doesn't matter if he was born on the fuckin' MOON! He. Is. A. CITIZEN!

And no, "B-b-b-but he's BLACK!" doesn't change a damned thing.

Christ, these people shouldn't be allowed to breed indiscriminately, let alone VOTE! The gene pool is irreparably tainted.

Dave and Charlie Koch though the Tea Partiers would vot for whoever they told to vote. So they told Joe the Plumber and company to vote for Scott Walker.

Then enter Donald Trump. He wins the dummy vote, right under Dave and Charlie's noses.

Remember this from Donald Trump's previous campaign to claim President Obama was not born in the USA? Of course, we never found out what it was...but Trump bombastically delivered that claim...and never followed up. This is the Donald's usual M.O. His public just seems to accept the wild claims he makes without requiring either proof or specifics on his promises.

Their racist hatred makes them extremely un-American. They don't live like we do or think like we do or share our values. They should go somewhere were that's OK, but they can't stay here.

They ACTUALLY believe that President Obama and everyone else who does not believe exactly as they do quite literally hates the United States of America and wants to completely destroy same. Not in a philosophical sense--- in a literal sense. They are dumber than pet rocks.
