Trump likely to rule out third-party White House run: report

Source: The Hill

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump will likely rule out a third-party bid for the White House on Thursday, CNN reported late Wednesday night.

Trump will meet with Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus in New York City on Thursday, a day after the RNC began asking Republican candidates to sign a pledge to support the eventual GOP nominee and not run an Independent bid.

CNN, citing unnamed sources, says “all signs indicate” Trump will sign the pledge, but cautioned that Trump’s unpredictable history means nothing is guaranteed yet.

The RNC’s pledge is thought to be largely aimed at Trump, who has refused to rule out an Independent run if he loses the GOP nomination race.

And if you believe his pledge, then I have a team of super secret, imaginary Hawaiian birther investigators discovering "amazing things that I'll reveal soon" to sell you.

As a pathological liar, Trump's word is meaningless. If he doesn't get his way, he could still run, even after signing.

Sign a pledge with the RNC not to run an independent bid. Sign a pledge with Grover Norquist not to raise taxes. What other pledges do Repugs sign? Do they sign a pledge with the NRA? What are the consequences of breaking a pledge or not signing on at all?

politicians break promises all the time so I never understood what was so sacred about "no new taxes"? Who the fuck is Grover Norquist anyway that he holds such power over them? Why do they care what Grover would think?
