Ben Carson's home is a temple to himself

Source: The Guardian

The decor at Ben Carson’s home in Maryland shows that Donald Trump may not have the biggest ego among the Republican candidates. On display are awards, certificates, medals, and a painting of himself with Jesus

Thinks he's qualified to be President because he feels he is most God-like and superior to everyone and everything.

How could anyone who is supposedly intelligent allow that to stay up and not be fixed?

I love the black Jeebus, though. Wonder what is supporters would think of that?

My stepfather was pretty high up the military/federal government food chain and had a home office showcasing decades of service since the Korean War. You could really get lost in that room -- so much history. But no Poverbs or black Jesus!

He decorated it as a temple to himself.

Funny the proverb he chose to have engraved atop the mantle:

"By Humility and the Fear of the Lord, are Riches and Life"

Humble, he's not........

sneered at the common practice of displaying the various ornate diplomas and certificates lawyers collect in the course of their career on a wall in the office. He called it the "I love me wall."

I don't have a wall of them or any pictures of myself up, but I do have my framed degree up and a few more certificates. I do love me but I love others just as much. I put up pictures of others - whom I happen to love. I have a picture of one grandma on a Camel in Israel on a trip to the Holy lands(a Christian one) and another literally in her Marijuana field with the blades surrounding her - she grew it albeit not legally. She was arrested when she was 68 for protesting a nuclear power plant. I'm proud of her. She died when I was 10. I wouldn't dream of putting up pictures of myself though. Family, absolutely. dozens of those.

Isn't it obvious that he has some sort of illness going on, mental or otherwise. I'm going to watch "Gifted Hands:The Ben Carson Story" and see what has gone wrong. A man that did some brilliant neurosurgery can't be this cartoon of a man that is running for President. I feel sorry for the man.
