Ammon Bundy Rejects Sheriff's Offer To End Oregon Standoff

BURNS, Ore., Jan 7 (Reuters) - The leader of a group of armed protesters occupying the headquarters of a U.S. wildlife refuge in rural southeastern Oregon on Thursday rejected a sheriff's offer of passage out of the state to end the standoff.
During a meeting at a neutral site, Harney County Sheriff David Ward offered to escort Ammon Bundy and his group of occupiers out of Oregon, but Bundy declined.
Bundy met the sheriff on a roadside after leaving the compound with other occupiers in two vehicles.

Are these yahoos allowed to come and go at will? I read on another thread about some of them going into town to eat, checking into a motel, and one buying & consuming vast amounts of liquor. Since they are in possession of deadly weapons, they should at least be surrounded and told to disarm.

Ruby ridge was a raid by a combined FBI and BATF bunch and was caused by a 1/4 inch too short rifle barrel that would have normally resulted in a $200.00 tax, they shot the dog first then they shot the unarmed teenaged boy who went out to see about the dog, later they sniped the wife through the window on the door while she was breast feeding the baby... At no time did Randy or anyone inside the house fire a weapon.... It was a total complete cluster fuck and was found that it never should have happened, randy won in court.... At the tie of the raid/siege he had plenty of firearms and ammo available but didn't fire back because he figured they would then finish the slaughter..
