Gunmen open fire at Egyptian hotel popular with tourists

Two foreign tourists were wounded when gunmen opened fire at the entrance to a hotel in the Egyptian Red Sea resort city of Hurghada on Friday, security sources said.
The assailants arrived by sea to carry out the assault, the sources said.

Gunmen have opened fire on a hotel in the Egyptian Red Sea resort of Hurghada, injuring two foreign tourists, reports say.
The attackers arrived by sea to carry out the assault, Reuters reported quoting Egyptian security sources.
Egyptian state TV says local security forces repelled the attack and one gunman has been killed.
Local media report that police have sealed off the area and one foreign tourist has been taken to hospital. The injured tourists are said to be from Denmark and Germany.
