Trouble In Paradise: Michelle Fields And Ben Shapiro Resign From Breitbart

Source: Crooks and Liars

When Ben Shapiro decides he can't work for Breitbart, you know it has to be bad. After they failed to stand up for their reporter in a principled way and chose instead to gaslight her, I figured she'd resign. But Shapiro? That was a surprise.

Looks like "Breitbart" is falling apart.

Not that they were ever credible in the first place, mind you...

They're just angry that their friend got thrown under the bus, and they realize that it could happen to them too.

No one here would ever be thrown under the bus for supporting a particular Democratic candidate. We all stand up for each other in a principled way even if the other person prefers a different Democrat than we do. That's what gives us the credibility that Breitbart lacks.

Have you done anything constructive on DU? Or supported anyone at all?

Yes, we do have far more credibility than Breitbart. If you can't see that, you're blind - willfully or otherwise.

Shapiro agreed with that obvious fact.

Hard to support Shapiro - he held a high-level position with professional liars - but in this case his career goals coincided with doing the right thing, supporting a female victim of violence. Kudos, I suppose. Whatever. Truth nevertheless.
