Donald Trump Drives A Stake Through The GOP's Heart: 'I Don't Want To Pivot'

Donald Trump has a message for the GOP leaders in DC and across the country hoping and pleading and waiting for him to change, to modulate, or to follow a script: "I don't want to pivot."

Trump's refusal to pivot from the primary election to the general and appeal to a different electorate comes even as polls show him losing ground in swing states across the country.

When asked if he needed to change up his tactics and work to appeal to a general election audience, Trump said "possibly" before adding that he wouldn't.

"I am who I am," Trump told WKBT-TV in Wisconsin during a one on one interview. "It's me. I don't want to change. Everyone talks about 'oh are you gonna pivot?' I don't want to pivot. I mean you have to be you.I f you start pivoting, you are not being honest with people."
