GOP preps tough perjury case against Clinton
Source: The Hill
House Republicans are doubling down in their effort to bring perjury charges against Hillary Clinton over her testimony last year to the House Select Committee on Benghazi.
GOP lawmakers have claimed that the Democratic presidential nominee broke the law by lying under oath about her private email setup during her marathon appearance in October.
Next month, Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee plan to make the issue a central part of a hearing with senior officials from the FBI, a committee aide said on Thursday.
Legally, the GOP faces a tough case. Politically, however, raising the perjury allegations would be a way to keep the issue of Clintons truthfulness in the public eye throughout the fall as she battles Republican nominee Donald Trump for the White House.

(24,703 posts)And while were at it lets find out if he his going to call Colin Powell and Condeelza Rice into the continuing dog and pony show for questioning, and if he is going to have on his "clown suit also", and if, since we the "taxpayers" are paying yet again for this "stuff", demand that Colin Powell and Condeelza Rice be brought in for affirmation of what they did on there "private e-mail accounts.
Because lets not forget, and this is a fact, people died while they had these "private e-mail accounts", because they help instigate a war and people died

(23,105 posts)It's the R's cuts in embassy funding which caused that sad situation. On the private emails, FBI has already cleared her of this, so this is total BS. I hope whoever is leaking misleading parts of the interview gets busted and put in jail, that would be justice.
