Libertarian VP: Clinton might be the most qualified to be president

Source: MSN/The Hill

Libertarian vice presidential nominee Bill Weld suggested Friday evening that Democrat Hillary Clinton may be the most qualified person to be president.

"I'm not sure anybody is more qualified than Hillary Clinton to be president of the United States," Weld told MSNBC's Chuck Todd when asked if Gary Johnson is more qualified.

"That's not the end of the inquiry, though," Weld continued. "We were two-term governors and I think Gary is very, very solid," he said, describing the former New Mexico governor as insightful.

Weld argued Johnson would be a better president than Clinton because "he's got a very appealing policy mix." He defended his running mate during the appearance following Johnson's gaffe this week when he couldn't name a world leader he admires.

two guys on the Libertarian ticket.

He certainly seems more stable than the GOP presidential nominee.

But had he attempted a run for the Republican nomination, he would have been eliminated early on because the Pukes' base is not going to tolerate someone like Bill Weld.

The Republicans have some work to do if they lose this election -- which i think they will -- and it's going to be painful and difficult for them. And at some point they'll have to decide if the party in its present state is salvageable. A case could be made that it's beyond rescue already.

world leader gaffe co-interview. Weld was probably thinking during that incident: "What? Oh come on, you don't know that either?

For God's sake, man. Do I have to do everything?

Stay off the pot and you won't come off so loopy."

When it comes to the way Johnson is acting. I think he has some serious problems with his mental health, be it dementia or just plain nuts, he is way out of it. I wish Weld would drop out and back Hillary, then maybe the majority of Johnson's supporters when think about voting for her also.

They instead go the extreme far right and so far it has backfired on them. Of course, then again they know that there are enough bat-shit crazy losers in this country that will vote for the lunatic fringe candidates, so I suppose there is some method to their madness.
