LeBron James endorsed Hillary Clinton yesterday.

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will be in Akron and Cleveland today, her first stops in Ohio since Labor Day.
It also comes one day after an op/ed by Cleveland Cavs star LeBron James endorsing Clinton was published on businessinsider.com.
"Only one person running truly understands the struggles of an Akron child born into poverty. And when I think about the kinds of policies and ideas the kids in my foundation need from our government, the choice is clear," James writes. "That candidate is Hillary Clinton."

(65,021 posts)He's bullet proof at this point. He's already done the speech at the ESPY's. He's already done the BLM shirt thing.
Everyone knows where he stands, and it hasn't affected his brand a bit to this point.
He's awfully big heat, and i don't think he fears the spotlight.

(4,742 posts)But I still don't think he will do it. He made his point publically but I don't think that he will go the extra step to campaign. He's back in pre-season camp and I doubt that he will want to bring that attention to himself or the Cavs who are readying the banner to be hung in a few weeks at Quicken Loans Arena. That's just not his style.
