Trump falsely accuses media of not pushing Kaine on Catholic flap

Source: Politico

Donald Trump alleged Monday that the media are “in the tank” for Hillary Clinton, apparently because no one has asked her running mate “about the horrible views emanated on WikiLeaks about Catholics.” Trump’s premise, however, is false.

Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine has responded to multiple questions about the Clinton’s campaign’s rhetoric about Catholics, which was revealed among troves of hacked emails from Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta’s personal email account.

“Why has nobody asked Kaine about the horrible views emanated on WikiLeaks about Catholics?” Trump tweeted Monday morning. “Media in the tank for Clinton but Trump will win!”
Of course, Kaine, who is a Catholic, is on the record responding to such questions on at least four occasions.

“I do know what Hillary Clinton thinks about Catholicism because she picked a Catholic running mate and we talked an awful lot about my own faith background and she and I feel like that’s a connection for us,” he told Bret Baier on “Fox News Sunday” last week.

They haven't reported that he's had to pay government fines 455 times for tax "mistakes" aka fraud. They aren't reporting that he's been sued 22 times for unwanted sexual advances, and that one really burns my butt. These wouldn't make a difference to his Kool-Aid steeped brown shirts, but to everyone else, yeah, these could be deal changers. Media also spotlights his rallies all the time, I rarely see coverage of the Clinton and her surrogates rallies. Media made him AND are still helping him cover up what a true psychopath he is.

I saw it last night on a FB article and was surprised . Not sure if it came from MoveOn, Daily KOS or Occupy Democrats?

I know of 2x for sure that he's been sued for this, that woman that was groped at a business meeting at one of his places, she sued for sexual assault, but then he wouldn't pay her and her husband for work done, and both issues got settled out of court. She is one of the people that's already in a Clinton ad. He's also got a rape case pending against him now.

As an atheist I fail to see why this is an issue with respect to our president or their chosen cabinet.
In a perfect world our elected leaders would be atheists but barring that I think that, if they do worship a god, that it is private and none of our business and most assuredly is not part of public discourse.

It's amazing how much mileage Repubs are getting out of a few sentences in a single email and how much air time and column-inches the "liberal media" are giving the story.

The email dump has been pretty much a big zero up to this point. Either Assange is waiting for a good time to dump something really damning, or there'll continue to be nothing.

Can you even imagine what an unfiltered and un-redacted trove of RNC emails would contain?

Republican are bottom-feeders. I've never been so antagonistic toward them in my life.
