Hillary Clinton Campaign Announces Election Eve National TV Ad

The Hillary Clinton campaign signaled Saturday some of its plans for the closing round of televisions ads ahead of Tuesday's election. A buy was made for a two-minute national TV ad, which according to a campaign official, will express a "positive and unifying message" to air during primetime network program Monday evening. The campaign said the ads, slated for NBC's The Voice and CBS's Kevin Can Wait, will have a combined audience of 20 million people

A second ad, titled "Roar" (the name of the Katy Perry song lending it its soundtrack) was also unveiled earlier Saturday, and it will air in battleground states through the election.

The one-minute "Roar" ad features subtitles naming what various Americans are voting for, as well as one that says "I am voting against hate," and it includes footage from Clinton rallies. It will air in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, the campaign said.

1. I like the Roar ad a lot

it's a very powerful message showing all those diverse people and what we are voting for.

And apparently Virginia is blue and no longer a battleground state. I love how it's mostly historical red states that are the new battlegrounds.

I do hope that they find a way to do this without having her sit in one spot and talk for a half hour. I remember some election eve TV spots like this.

I love schmaltzy ads like that, especially when they're supporting the woman I voted for!!!!

That is a terrific ad. Gives me chills.

I don't want to celebrate too soon, but I think we've got this one, don't you????
