Singer Andrea Bocellis fans threaten boycott if he performs at Trump inauguration

Source: Raw Story

Andrea Bocelli is rumored to sing at Donald Trump’s inauguration next month, and not all of his fans are happy about it.

Though Bocelli has neither confirmed nor denied the reports that he will perform a duet with “America’s Got Talent” singer Jackie Evancho at the event, some of his fans have started a “Boycott Bocelli” movement should the Italian singer join in welcoming the President-elect to the White House on Jan. 20.

Trump will likely spin this... he'll invite people you've never heard of and sell it as 'Stars of Tomorrow Today.'
They'll get their Andy Warhol 15 minutes of fame, be on Fox and Friends and join the first two American Idol winners in their new found role in the Land of Obscurity, remembered only as a Jeopardy question

He's OUTSOURCING "Inaugural work" to foreigners!! LOL! Sorta like he outsources housekeeping/cook/waitressing work at Mar al Lago to foreign help, too....

If there is an existing contract, Trump would easily sue for breach.

Bocelli's agent may worry about Trump lambasting Bocelli for pulling out and has to choose which is worse: boycott of fans or Trump dedicating himself to ruining Bocelli's name. (OTOH, Trump going after Jerry Seinfeld when he pulled out of an Eric Trump event didn't seem to hurt his career a few years ago.)

I loved Bocelli, he is the one who took up Pavarotti's standard, but if he sings for Trump, especially with another REALITY TV ABOMINATION, he can join the rest of the deplorable vermin in the trash. The sort of people who buy Bocelli records are NOT trumpn voters.

Get used to kid rock and ted nugent Trumpkins, that is all the music you deserve.

Bocelli at his best. And AB is very enjoyable, but he's no Luciano.

Pavarotti was an OPERA singer who sometimes ventured into the pop milieu, AB is a pop singer of show and operatic tunes.

LP could blow out the house without amplification. AB would be lost without the mike.

Remember, Beyonce sang for Qaddafi and only "gave the money to charity" when it was discovered she did it.

These singers have no social conscience. They will sell their wares to despots if the price is right. Saudi butchers of women will asked Lopez and other "feminist" singers to come (and they will if the price is right). Which is why when they say in public how liberated they are, I vomit a little in my mouth.
