House Republicans Propose Rules to Punish Broadcasting, Photography From Chamber Floor

Source: NBC News

by Frank Thorp V

House Republicans have proposed punishing representatives who shoot video or take photos on the floor of the chamber — a change in rules seen as a direct response to a dramatic sit-in in June by House Democrats demanding a vote on gun control legislation that was streamed live online.

The new policy would result in members of Congress being fined up to $2,500 for digital photography, audio or visual recording or broadcasting on the House floor.

"These changes will help ensure that order and decorum are preserved in the House of Representatives so lawmakers can do the people's work," Ashlee Strong, a spokeswoman for House Speaker Paul Ryan, said in a statement Monday.

. . . "Bring.It.On.," California Rep. Eric Swalwell, a Democrat who was a leading figure in the June sit-in, tweeted in response to the new proposal.

If anyone should be pissed off it's the left. The right has stonewalled our government ever since we the people elected President Obama.

Apparently, America wants Republicans because they control most state houses, governor's mansions, the Congress and the Presidency.

And I hope Republicans give it to Americans as good and as hard as possible.

Kindly explain what you mean and why you think that would be a swell idea. Bearing in mind that MOST OF US IN THE USA VOTED FOR HILLARY, why would you want us all screwed over by the GOP?

hope they get what they bought on election day and get it good and hard.

And I voted hillary too, after Bernie dropped out.

I don't want to hear buyer's remorse. They bought Assfaced Shitgibbon. . .I hope he sticks it to them as hard as Scott Walker and Rick Scott are doing to their states. And as hard as Doug Douchey is doing it to mine after Jan Brewer did it to us.

That's what I mean. Frustration at idiot American voters is boiling over.

this is something that we have to resign ourselves to.

It has been building for the last 30 years, they just have steadily acrued more power, and the country just has kept, time after time after time, indulged their lunacy.

It is simply bigger than us now. We have fought just to keep the slippage incremental, but on November 8th they went all in on full on stupid. There is nothing we can say or do to convince them otherwise.

It sucks for us, but we can only sit back and let them fuck things up to hell and make sure they own it.

People gotta feel the pain from what they have bought.

I expect and hope everyone will monitor, videotape, twitter, instagram and everything else that pertains to this fake president elect, his cabinet all republiCons and Dems who are trying to fool us with the lies and the okey-doke.

They work for us and we need to let them not forget that. I will make damn sure I let everyone I know what they are planning they make rules and laws for us they monitor us in and out of the bedroom but, they don't want us to see what they are planning for us.

When they take those seats they think they are GOD. One thing everyone should do is post everything that Paul Ryan and McConnell are doing. Ryan and his crew have already written up legislation and Trump will be signing shit he knows nothing about.

Which will actually be a good thing. It'll get media coverage, and all the individuals donating $5 and $10 will be more aware of how they're a part of their government.

I say do it! This will blowup in their faces.
