Brennan 'deeply saddened and angered' at Trump's CIA remarks

Source: CNN

Former CIA Director John Brennan is "deeply saddened and angered" at President Donald Trump after the commander in chief addressed CIA employees at their headquarters in Langley, Virginia, on Saturday, Brennan's former deputy chief of staff says.

Trump spent much of his speech -- which was in front of a memorial wall for the more than 100 CIA officers who have fallen in the line of duty -- focusing on his crowd size at his inauguration and saying he "has a running war with the media."

"Former CIA Director Brennan is deeply saddened and angered at Donald Trump's despicable display of self-aggrandizement in front of CIA's Memorial Wall of Agency heroes," Nick Shapiro said in a statement. "Brennan says that Trump should be ashamed of himself."

Trump's visit was seen as part of a bid to mend fences after he strained relations with intelligence officials by repeatedly casting doubt on their assessment that Russia had carried out cyberattacks during the campaign. He also suggested that the intelligence community was leaking information about the investigation to the press, taking to Twitter to slam Brennan.

Then he talks about "keeping the oil" in Iraq. Because we're running a pirate ship?

And then! He talks about the crowd estimates from yesterday and blah blah blah. Because nobody actually cares but him cause it hurt his precious feelings.

So Good Luck everyone. This guys a looney toon.

His first wife testified in Divorce proceedings he had Hitler books by his bed side. Like it was the only thing that could hold his attention enough to read. I think some good research teams should diagram his speeches with the with sections of Mein Kampf the Trumpisms are sourced from. So our doomed repetition of history is more accurate. Real time more than retrospective. A People's history of the controlled explosion of American Empire.

I used to have a copy of Mein Kampf from my college days in the '60's. Maybe I need to reread it to be aware of what he'll do next, though I'm not sure I want to know.

My only hope is that the Republican party will want to control him, but won't be able to, and then will distance themselves from him. They can't be too cocky after today's protest numbers.

Can anyone explain this? The stars on the wall are for agents who have died in the line of duty. Uniquely they may in some cases never receive public acknowledgment of their sacrifice. What is he talking about here:

And the wall behind me is very very special. We’ve been touring for quite a while. And I’ll tell you what: twenty … nine? I can’t believe it.. No. Twenty eight. We’ve got to reduce it. That’s amazing. And we really appreciate it what you ‘ve done in terms of showing us something very special. And your whole group. These are really special, amazing people. Very. very few people could do the job you people do.

Waterboarding is a shit interrogation technique. If you're being waterboarded, you have absolutely no interest in telling the truth and a very strong interest in telling the guy with the bucket whatever it'll take to get him to stop trying to drown you. The legal techniques work, regardless of what Trump thinks.

Defiling sacred ground. Will the Vietnam Memorial be next?

I'm sorry, but this is the most disgusting display of malevolent ego I have ever witnessed from this bloodsucking cockroach.

It has been said that the failures of the clandestine services are known, but its successes are unknown. The stars on the Wall Of Honor memorialize those who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our liberty, and many of them represent successes.

I spent many years in the service of our country. During that time, myself and the men I worked with depended daily on information from the intelligence services to do our jobs. That information, provided at great cost, is a vital component of our ability to maintain freedom.

Yes, there have been abuses. Yes, there have been embarrassments. And yes, there have been tragedies. Hopefully, we learn valuable lessons from these errors, and move on, always trying to do better.

That is but a small portion of the debt we owe to those who have fallen on our behalf.

And I said: “Well, it was almost raining.” The rain should have scared them away. But God looked down and he said: “We’re not going to let it rain on your speech."

In fact, when I first started I said: "Oh no." First line, I got hit by a couple of drops.

And I said: “Oh, this is, this is too bad, but we’ll go right through it.”

But the truth is that it stopped immediately. It was amazing. And then it became really sudden, and then I walked off and it poured right after I left - it poured.

Why would he say this to the CIA? Does he have a special connection with god to alter the weather? Can he get any more narcissistic than this? Was he telling the truth or lying?

Never mind. Don't bothering answering!
