Cowardly Republicans go utterly silent in the face of Trump's cruelty to refugees and immigrants

Democrats are going at Trump with guns fully ablaze over the president’s new executive order blocking all refugees from entering the U.S., but where are Republicans? Aside from Paul Ryan, who’s desperate to keep Trump happy so that he can secure the tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy that are his raison d’etre, just about the entire GOP is nowhere to be found:

The majority of Republicans in Congress were silent on the order Saturday. Calls and emails to more than a dozen top GOP lawmakers were not returned.

As Trump sets fire to the world, his party goes into hiding........................

I have only watched for about an hour and half today (msnbc only--) but I think they are doing a good job of covering this horrible WH debacle

They stood silent not only as they instituted this racist order, but issued it by fiat without consulting anyone at DHS or State.

Gallup has his "approval" at 42% (and Gallup leans right -- my instinct is that the number is below 40%). So maybe certain groups of fundamentalists love every single thing Trump does until it impacts them (such as the slashing of union workers' pensions). But certainly there are many Christians that do not support the Orange.

even though it's true, this is not Breaking News.
It's easy to tell opinion just by the use of the word "cowardly" in the title.
LBN is for hard, dry news. Other articles can easily go in GD.
