White House counselor Kellyanne Conway continued her attacks on Democratic politicians’ protests against the Donald Trump travel ban order, saying on Fox News’ MediaBuzz Sunday that they should go consider Trump’s nominations instead.

Conway denounced the Democratic effort to delay Jeff Sessions‘ confirmation as Attorney General, saying they only wanted to “humiliate and embarrass” the Alabama Senator. “As we sit here right now we have a record number of unconfirmed nominees to a presidential cabinet: eleven, including Treasury and Commerce,” she noted.

“The Democrats want to go on the record, they have time to go and cry and weep at the airport protesting something that they’ve completely bastardized as to what it is and what its intent and what its effect is, this immigration order,” she complained.

“And yet they don’t have time to give a fair hearing, an up-or-down vote on these nominees?” Conway asked. “You want to vote against, vote against. But at least give people a hearing and the decency of a vote.”

and googled her age. She is fifty. She has fair coloring, as I do. I have bags under my eyes like that, but I am sixty-eight. I have had no plastic surgery.

When I was fifty, I did not have bags under my eyes like that. I figure she looks eighteen years older than she is.

Maybe is it wrong to make a fuss about her appearance. We would not be doing that if she was a man. But I think her evil is twisting her, and her gender does not matter.

I do remember looking at pictures of Mr. and Mrs. Cheney when they were young. They were very pretty people. Dick Cheney in particular has aged badly. He looks nothing like he did as a young man. I think the evil in him twisted his looks. This applies to KelleyAnne also.

I remember reading a short story, I think by Hawthorne. A young man gets a premonition of an ugly, twisted face. It scares him, and he never forgets the face. He goes on to lead a dishonest, selfish life. As an old man, he looks in the mirror, and discovers that the face he feared as a younger man is his own face. Maybe someone else remembers this story?
