President Donald Trump on Monday morning continued his attempts to delegitimize the media by claiming that any "negative" poll must be "fake news."

It's unclear what poll set Trump off early Monday morning. He may have been reacting to a CNN/ORC poll released Friday. The poll found that 53 percent of Americans oppose Trump's order suspending the refugee program and barring people from seven predominantly Muslim countries from coming to the U.S.

I want to see the Trump Organization's books, the tax returns for every member of the Trump family, Donald Trump's complete medical file, the business records for Breitbart News, InfoWars, Project Veritas and whatever in hell Blackwater is called this week, a handwritten explanation for why Steve Bannon is on the National Security Council, true accounting of the Trump campaign, a report accurately detailing Trump's Russia ties, a complete list of Trump's creditors and his payment status...

That's what has gotten us in to this mess: no specific requirements beyond citizenship and age for the job. It's pathetic.
