White House leak reveals how staff manipulated Trump to get him to approve failed Yemen raid

Source: RawStory

The one way a White House staffer can get President Donald Trump to do what they want is by telling him that President Barack Obama would never have done it, a new report reveals.

According to the Independent, an anonymous staffer leaked that the way military leaders were able to urge Trump to act on the failed Yemen raid was by telling him Obama didn’t want to do it.

General James “Mad Dog” Mattis, and chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Joseph Dunford, were reportedly able to persuade Trump to move forward by claiming Obama would never have been so bold to actually go through with it.

The military action was in the works for months prior to Trump taking over but Obama advisors didn’t want to do the raid until it was a moonless night.

Just being in an everyday combat unit in Iraq, we still used SINCGARS. military radio frequencies are constantly hopping from one frequency to the next. For every second that goes by, the radio changes frequency over one hundred times. Just to be able to have a conversation with your own people, all the radios are synced with a programming box that keeps them in time with each other. If any radio falls out of time by more than 3 seconds, it will no longer work. It would have to be reprogrammed again.

Being a special forces unit, I would imagine they would have even more advanced radio technology. If the enemy was listening, it wasn't an accident.

The one thing we can be sure of is that the al Qaeda was
on alert and ready for the raid. I have seen and/or heard that
we had lost the element of surprise in that raid and we had a
chance to abort the mission but went ahead anyway.

Trump gave the order for the mission w/his daughter, son in law, Steve Bannon, and Gen Flynn (he

"So just ask yourself: Do you really think Donald Trump have the temperament to be Commander-in-Chief?

Donald Trump can't even handle the rough-and-tumble of a presidential campaign.

He loses his cool at the slightest provocation. When he's gotten a tough question from a reporter. When he's challenged in a debate. When he sees a protestor at a rally.

Imagine, if you dare, imagine — imagine him in the Oval Office facing a real crisis. A man you can bait with a tweet is not a man we can trust with nuclear weapons.

I can't put it any better than Jackie Kennedy did after the Cuban Missile Crisis. She said that what worried President Kennedy during that very dangerous time was that a war might be started – not by big men with self-control and restraint, but by little men – the ones moved by fear and pride."
