Sean Spicer: Anyone Who Doesn't Consider Yemen Raid a Success 'Owes an Apology' to Dead Navy SEAL

Source: Mediaite

by Justin Baragona | 2:50 pm, February 8th, 2017

During today’s press briefing, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer was asked if the White House can continue to paint the Yemen raid as a success considering the loss of civilian life and the fact that Yemen is no longer granting permission to the US to run special operations missions in the country.

“It’s absolutely a success,” Spicer told MSNBC’s Kristen Welker. “And I think anyone who suggests it’s not a success does disservice to the life of Chief Ryan Owens.” After mentioning the intelligence they retrieved from the mission, Spicer continued to rail against the idea that it was anything but a success, invoking the death of the Navy SEAL multiple times.

“Anybody who undermines the success of the raid owes an apology and a disservice to the life of Chief Owens,” Spicer exclaimed.

When pressed by Welker if that would include Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), who has been critical of the raid, Spicer said that would be his “message to anybody.”

Did you know "nutmeg" that your sexual predator boss spent a half hour at an intelligence briefing this last week, then he came out and was bitching about his daughter getting her worthless clothes removed from Nordstrom's because people like that Navy seals wives and other military personnel and "citizen's of this country are boycotting her, because, why may you ask, she, you, Bannon, dumspster and your entire crowd are using the government to promote her worthless cloths at my, your and everyone expense. and this twit, only spent an half hour in that room, because throughout that meeting his head was exploding about clothes----------------do you understand that or this point----------------------f**king clothes.
Here let me say it again--------------he was in a intelligence meeting and he was worried about his daughters clothes line not selling.

And then to top it all off the last credible and decent "president" said "no" to the raid-------------did you understand why------------or are you and your fascist republicans trying to mimic the other worthless fascist in your party , present and past, like Reagan, because he sure does act like Reagan, that unmitigated fascist lackey

FU and your sexual predator administration and "all" of his deplorable supporters------------got that, between your ears, nutmeg

This on top of him accusing Nordstrom of directly attacking The President. http://www.democraticunderground.com/10141695022

And....

Sean Spicer: ‘I can only hope that if Coretta Scott King was still with us,’ she’d support Jeff Sessions, 2/8/17

... Spicer said that he hoped that King would have come around to supporting Sessions today if she had ever taken the time to get to know him and understand his record on key issues such as voting rights.

... I would respectfully disagree with her assessment of Sen. Sessions then and now, said Spicer. His record on civil voting rights, I think, is outstanding.

25. Compare And Contrast This With Benghazi
Wed Feb 8, 2017, 05:21 PM
Feb 2017

Benghazi was a defensive operation where we didn't have enough support staff to ward off a terrorist attack. Republican budget cuts to Embassy security forced this situation Libya. As a result, 4 Americans died.

Yemen was an offensive operation into a country not granting permission to run special operations missions in its country. As a result 1 American and many women and children were killed. The raid was a partial success but at what cost.

With Benghazi Republicans insisted that the Americans lost their lives in vain and Hillary should have been charged with a crime. In Yemen the primary target was missed and somehow even a mention of this fact is a disservice to the fallen American.

The juxtapositional entry exposes that the hypocrisy is mammoth.

1 dead, 2-3 injured, up to 30 civilians killed, to include women and children, 1 multi million dollar aircraft lost!

All in a raid with bad intel, no adequate support, and Central Command releases a 10 year old YouTube video to justify the mission!

A mission, if the story is true, that was planned over a dinner table...and where the Orange shitgibbon was told that Obama wouldn't do it, just so he would sign off on it!!!

The people responsible owe not only an apology to Chief Owens, family, and fellow American citizens, they OWN the blame for putting our troops in danger and should be held accountable.
Years and millions on the Benghazi hearings and this one gets swept right under the rug.
Deplorable is a deplorable does.

The man is dead, the target escaped. In his steed 30 or so civillians were killed, half of which were women and children AND they had to scuttle a vehicle worth tens of millions of dollars. If that wasn't bad enough the mission was probably a nogo from the outset and "allegedly" Trump gave the go ahead without the proper mission workup. There is no condition in which you can say this was a success. Trump and his fucking flunkies threw that man's life away, maybe he knew what he was getting into but to turn around and call this shit a success is a disservice and slap in the face to every single active, retired and departed vet.

Spicer can go straight to hell, and die.
