'No anonymous sources,' Trump scolds _ after WH uses them

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump escalated his criticism of the news media Friday, taking direct aim this time at the use of anonymous sources. Reporters "shouldn't be allowed to use sources unless they use somebody's name," he declared, just hours after members of his own staff held a press briefing and refused to allow their names to be used.

"A source says that Donald Trump is a horrible, horrible human being, let them say it to my face," Trump told the Conservative Political Action Committee. "Let there be no more sources."

Members of Trump's White House team regularly demand anonymity when talking to reporters.

Speaking to a large crowd at the Conservative Political Action Conference, Trump said he wasn't against all media, just "the fake news media or press."

He terms fake news anything that is uncomplimentary of him. He totally loves leakers, as long as the info being leaked belong to someone else. When it comes to leaks from the government, leakers are horrible people, unless they are leaking at his request.

he hates to be told that people think he's not liked, he hates not knowing who say things about him and he thinks anything negative about him is "fake news"

I'm waiting, not for him to start a war, but someone else because they know no one is in charge in the white house any longer.
