Pence calls Assange tweets about 'Pence takeover' of White House 'absurd' and 'offensive'

Source: CNN

Vice President Mike Pence said Tuesday that two tweets from WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange claiming a possible "Pence takeover" of the White House were "absurd" and "frankly offensive."

"I would find all of that dialogue to be absurd and frankly offensive," Pence told radio host Laura Ingraham. "It is the greatest honor of my life to serve shoulder-to-shoulder with the 45th President of the United States. To see his leadership every day, to see the compassion that he has for the American people every day. I would dismiss that out of hand and tell you that I'm just, I'm so excited about the progress that we've been made strengthening this country, protecting this country, reviving this country's economy and all credit goes to President Donald Trump."

Assange wrote in a pair of tweets Tuesday that Hillary Clinton was pushing for a Pence takeover of the White House and claimed two intelligence officials were planning on such a takeover.

"Clinton stated privately this month that she is quietly pushing for a Pence takeover. She stated that Pence is predictable hence defeatable," Assange wrote.

The Nation gave thanks that Spiro self destructed before Nixon said bye bye. We ended up with Ford who was light years better than either Dicky or Spirolina.
If only we could be so lucky again.

All Republicans have to do is complement Trump. Pretend he's a competent president instead of a lunatic patsy. Like this quote from the article " all credit goes to President Donald Trump." Trump eats that shit up and Pence knows that.

Pence is only scared the Republican parties collusion with Russian hackers & money launderers will be exposed. Assange is just a website a place to accept the stolen files.

I suggest to Mr. Trump to turn in the Republicans who colluded with Russia to destabilize Americas democracy before they blame it all on him. They will to save themselves.

If he plays it right goes after those Republicans, he could come out to his fan club as "The Hero Who Saved Democracy.

I never expected integrity from him, but now there is no rationality to what he is doing. He's just hitting at all sides and not even looking after his reptilian self-interest like he used to.

We all know Trump. He's a simpleton, a vindictive, petty, narcissistic bully. If he even gets a sniff of a thought that Pence is secretly working behind the scenes to knock him off his throne and take his job, he'll want retribution. Like a paranoid mafia boss that murders his second in command because he thought, whether real or not, that there was a plot against him. Trump is someone that cannot put toothpaste back in the tube - if he is convinced that Pence is scheming against him, it will cause all kinds of trouble for the GOP.

We have to use Dolt 45s personality flaws against him.

If those idiots had any sense at all, they'd stop tweeting and throw their phones away.
But of course they won't do that, because they're idiots.

Maybe there's a way to get them to "fake tweet" each other.
Wouldn't that be fun to watch?

and Trump isn't going to get paranoid when he's in on the joke...

Secondly, I don't care how pure or altruistic or strategic the motives -- Can we *PLEASE* stop promoting patently false news stories? All this does is serve the ultimate purposes of Trump/Bannon...

They are convinced she is already a serial murderer and a child porn maven. I highly doubt a story like that will matter in that regard.

And the point is that Trump is clearly NOT in on the joke. But looking at his past behavior its easy to predict how he would react if you poke him in the right place. And no, its time we fight fire with fire. I wish we didn't have to put on the gloves and fight dirty, but its come to that now.

He is madly stirring up a crazy storm in the whole country, why not take advantage of a situation to stir up a little storm between the GOP and Trump? They have all the advantages right now, all branches of government, State governorships, monopoly on daytime radio talk, most watched MSM network, ......this is not a time for ethical hand-wringing when opportunities to sow discord amongst the enemy are thrown in our laps.
