Rachel Maddow claims to have President Trump's tax returns

Source: NY Daily News

MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow claims she has President Trumps elusive tax returns, she said Tuesday.

Maddow pledged to discuss Trumps much-desired financial documents on The Rachel Maddow Show at 9 p.m. following months of dogged calls to have them released ahead of the November election.

In January, Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway said the White House would not release the documents despite a precedent for GOP presidential candidates to release their returns during the past nine elections.

It is posted after her 9PM ET program ends, and it is complete, the entire program.

Point your podcast aggregator towards "Rachel Maddow" (search). There will be two versions, video and audio.

I get the audio version every night that MS/NBC posts it, usually by about 11PM ET. It is only a 10MB download, nice for download limited folks, like me here in the Manistee National Forest. (No cable; no broadband INet; only cellular.) The video version is larger, of course. Thankfully Rachel is so descriptive that I do not miss the video. YMMV.

Just thought I'd post this tip for those without access to MS/NBC.

Rachel's been on fire recently!

There is NOT going to be a smoking gun showing criminal activity, leading to an impeachment trial. Nobody, even Trump, would be stupid enough to reference criminal business activities in their tax forms.

The IRS is only concerned with taxable income. The world is interested in far more, and the full document might reveal a great deal once the money is traced.

per this link http://tvline.com/2017/03/14/rachel-maddow-donald-trump-tax-returns-watch-report-msnbc/
It says (in part):
One suspicious discovery from the document found that a Russian oligarch with ties to Deutsche Bank paid Trump roughly $100 million for a property Trump purchased for only $40 million earlier that year. This “bizarre dump of tens of millions of dollars of Russian money” does nothing to quell the “ongoing concerns” of the Trump administration’s improper connections to Russia.

The WSJ article is here:
https://www.wsj.com/articles/donald-trump-got-a-big-break-on-2005-taxes-1458249902

The Rachel Maddow document will approximately confirm what the WH says, that he paid possibly 38 million on an income of 150 million. The interesting thing about the WSJ article is that it says that in 1995 he had a deal with the IRS to get out of paying 39 million in return for agreeing not to build on some golf course.

So that seems to imply that maybe in 2005 again he might have paid no taxes in the end.

Guess it probably won't show any charitable deductions either

And if TRMS is eluding to something, it's probably how what she'll cover tonight helps bridge gaps between Donald's financial empire or lack thereof and Russian oligarchs.

the WSJ said DT did a deal with the IRS to avoid 39 million in taxes that year.
The new documents show that his total tax due for that year was just under that amount.
They are saying he paid thus and such in taxes, but maybe he owed that and then made the 39 mil deal.

The main thing useful will be if he had Russian oil and hotel investments, which he can be questioned about. His answer will be a lie or weasely in some way---but it's a first step and keeps the demand alive---for 2006, 2007 and up to today.
