Dutch election: Mark Rutte's VVD party leads in main exit poll live

If this exit poll is accurate this shows a disappointing night for Wilders PVV; its also a devastating night for the Labour party who recorded a record low.

If these numbers hold the ruling Govt coalition could win by adding the Christian Democrats and D66. Result: Center/center-right coalition.

but they refused the right-wing version. Another nation holds the line against fascism, or whatever political scientists are calling that Rough Beast slouching out of darkness on the right.

to Wilders. It's like a lot of working class Americans who voted for trump.

I also think trump's ridiculous rallies helped Rutte. Trump's rallies are reminiscent of a certain bygone era, one that does not bear repeating.

I feel like this dam held against the tide that threatened to engulf us all.

I'm looking forward to the sensible French casting their vote.
