WINTER PARK, Fla. -

...............“Well, videotape the arrest, come on guys. Come on Channel 9 News,” he said.

“There’s two agents over there. Why don’t they come arrest me? Why aren’t they arresting me?” he asked. “Because I haven’t done anything wrong. That’s why.”

Three minutes later agents pulled up to Howard’s home.

“We have a warrant for your arrest,” one agent told him.

“You have a warrant for my arrest?” Howard asked. “OK.”

He was put into a Seminole County Sheriff’s Office cruiser and driven to jail..............

Florida man charged with threatening to hunt down U.S. congressman and hang him from a lamppost

..... He then asked if the call was a violation of his First Amendment rights after he was told authorities had a recording of the voicemail.

The court documents show that Howard had called dozens of other congressman and senators over the past month, but it's not clear what he said to them.

One person who knows the Winter Park man said Howard believes the government is associated with a number of conspiracy theories.

Howard was charged with threatening to injure a person across state lines.

“I suggest you prepare for the battle (expletive) and the apocalypse,” the voicemail said. “Cause we’re going to hunt your (expletive) down, wrap a rope around your neck and hang you from a lamp post.”

“I didn’t threaten anybody,” Howard said when confronted with the federal complaint. LOL - I guess that is an alternative fact.

Even tho' I know we're the majority

I guess it's because even one of them can wreak terrible havoc, thus that makes them 1000x more toxic than a sane person

or maybe 1000000x

Charles Zachary Howard is accused of calling a congressman’s office in Washington D.C., last week and leaving a voicemail rife with profanities and threats, a complaint alleges.

“...We’re going to hunt your a-- down, wrap a rope around your neck and hang you from a lamppost,” part of the voicemail said.

The congressman’s name was not released in court documents.

In the voicemail, Howard also mentioned the KKK, the Freemasons and Nazis and suggested the congressman should prepare for the “battle” and the “apocalypse,” prosecutors said.

Despite Howard calling from an unknown number, federal authorities were able to track the call to his phone in Winter Park, the complaint said.

Authorities interviewed Howard on Monday and he denied calling any members of Congress or the Senate.

When a federal agent said he had records detailing the call and the voicemail, Howard first asked if the phone call was a violation of his First Amendment rights then ended the interview, court records show.

Is it illegal to verbally threaten someone's life - Answers.com

Threatening people with bodily harm is called assault.
It is both a criminal and civil offense ...

I have read on that threatening is ... not protected... by the First Amendment of the Constitution.
Neither is yelling "fire" in a crowded movie theater .. and there is another..which I do not recall.
