Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards urged Ivanka Trump on Friday to step into the debate over the Republican health care bill.

The president’s daughter’s silence on the way the legislation would affect women has been “deafening,” she said, and that “it’s time for Ivanka to … stand for women.”
Ivanka is currently on a ski vacation with her family in Aspen. The bill, which would remove federal requirements to provide services like maternity care, and would block federal funding for Planned Parenthood, is scheduled to go for a vote later Friday.

Richards also targeted members of congress, and female Republicans in particular, with her remarks.

“Any woman who votes for this bill is betraying every woman in America,” she said. “Women will not just lose their healthcare, but lose their lives over this bill.”

Demand an open hearing into the Trump admin, than Nunes unilaterally cancelled. Call these committee members and demand an open hearing so people are aware of what's going on.

If she gets an abortion, daddy can fly her to RUSSIA now, I am sure they would be happy to help.

5. I dissagree. Ivanka is a private citizen. She's not elected to office.

Suggesting that she "stand up for women" is elevating her voice. She just got a security clearance which is inapporpriate enough.

And what if wealthy ivanka doesn't really care or believe in Planned Parenthood? That's her right.

I think this was a really stupid move by PP. Personally, I don't want her advocacy.

11. I can go either way on this. She did speak at the convention about how great her father was

to women employees. She definitely was trying to woo women's votes based on her speech. So, I do think she has some skin in the game.

She has (or will have) clearance and an office in the WH. She is now a part of this administration. Don't allow her to have it both ways. I chose to leave her out of it before but no more.

She has got it made. She does not need to care about others.

Even if no Trumps give a crap, other people (voters, gods willing) will be listening.

I don't want her to weld any political power for any purpose. I don't want The Donald to weld any political power. I don't want to hear another word about Melania, Donald Jr., Eric or that other daughter. I want the whole pestilent family gone and tossed down the memory hole. I don't have a single thing positive to say about the whole lot.

Trump is trying to be a good fake evangelical Christian so having Ivanka break away and support women's reproductive rights will be a no go.

14. Good. She's saying "put up or shut up" to these bastards. Calling the female members of Congress

out to do the same. She's a real leader and she will help women channel their frustration and anger into poliitcal action. That is the only way we can get progress on women's rights.

IT'S NOT OVER YET! RESIST!
