Donald Trump Jr nixes 2018 NY bid, but maybe later

Source: Associated Press

Jonathan Lemire, Associated Press Updated 8:27 am, Tuesday, April 11, 2017

NEW YORK (AP) — Donald Trump Jr., rumored to be eyeing a move to follow his father's footsteps into politics, will not be a candidate for governor of New York next year but is not ruling out a possible run for office in the future.

The younger Trump, in an interview Monday with The Associated Press, categorically denied any speculation that he might challenge incumbent Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

"I am not running in 2018," Trump said in his first public comments about a possible candidacy next year. But he acknowledged having been bitten by the politics bug and said that he could consider a run down the road.

"Maybe someday," Trump said. "It's not something I'm doing now. But you never know, it's fascinating stuff."

They will tear you to shreds and you will go down in total flames. It would be so lovely to see you actually getting what you are due for once, you freaking elephant killer.

will be so easy to prove against this little creep. He claimed that the "money was flowing in from Russia" not too long ago. He is not too smart, either, none of the tRump "kids" are. The oldest kid is the dumbest (Donny the erstwhile presnit)

Junior made a campaign stop there just after the GOP convention last year. Why else would he go the all the trouble in a sure fire gimme red state?

while little Donnie probably found out he can't raise two dimes for a campaign, his sister could be a serious threat. She is apparently the smartest one in the whole family, and could be an interesting candidate. Maybe not a great Governor, but a votegetter.

Daddy goes down, Ivanka becomes a Democrat... And watch the show...

Canny & shrewd would be more like it. She doesn't have any more of a chance with NYers that her brothers. And as of now, most would like to see those classless grifters gone.

go down in humiliating, ignominious defeat at de feet of our current Governor.

There appears to be no Republican on the horizon who could beat Cuomo, and while I'm not overly thrilled with him, I'm OK with him. So, long as Cuomo is apparently unassailable, might as well make the election a good show.

And ripping the guts out of Jr. would be a great show.

Your dad only lost his home state by 21 points, and he's nowhere near as big a prick as you. You can do far, far better than that...losing New York after two years of your dad's reign by 80 points should be easily within your grasp!
