Pelosi: GOPs Rush To Vote On Repeal Bill Puts Them In A Lose-Lose Situation

Source: Talking Points Memo

By ESME CRIBB Published MAY 4, 2017 11:20 AM

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) on Thursday said that Republicans have put themselves in a “lose-lose situation” by rushing to vote on the latest iteration of their bill to repeal and replace Obamacare.

“They’ll lose if they don’t bring it up and it doesn’t win,” Pelosi said during her weekly press conference. “They really lose if they pass it.” She said Republicans are “deluding themselves into thinking that they can hide the truth, or hide from their constituents, when they take their votes.”

“Republicans are in a lose-lose situation,” Pelosi said. “So we welcome them to this great civics class.” She said the furor over Republicans’ appeal attempt is “almost, I would say, a welcome debate.”

“Republicans are maliciously, again, attempting to destroy health care and coverage for the American people,” Pelosi said. “I would hope that they realize that this is really bad for the country, but I do say that it is good in one respect.”

The GOP Plan: People who are upset over losing their healthcare will die. Dead people don't vote (OK, those who do vote, vote for republicans).

Make more babies and refuse to support them with healthcare or much
of anything else, then after they make more babies, let them die for lack
of healthcare.

The Expendables are like a crop of food to their real Owners. Always more
next year.

He's the guy that beat Gene Taylor, the Rep that tried to get a multi-peril insurance act to the floor and the thanks from his constituents was to vote in a soulless asshole.

I have been writing him nearly every day about the disaster that is America right now. I told him he had best remember if he votes to get rid of the ACA, he will lose when some one runs against him.

I really believe President Barack Obama has warped their collective minds so much that they simply cannot do anything other than oppose, undo, or destroy anything associated with him.

And Pelosi is correct, so long as Perez and the DNC get off their asses and go on the road with "ACA Repeal for Dummies". The impact on health coverage needs to be explained to the public in very clear, simple, plain sentences.
