Starting off Monday morning with another Twitter rampage against the news media, President Donald Trump said journalists will be “forced” to cover positive White House accomplishments “at some point.”

This tweet follows several other posts last week criticizing the media, specifically CNN, and personally attacking the hosts of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Mika Brzezinski And Joe Scarborough, for criticizing Trump on their show.

The President’s relationship with the media has been negative since the start of his run for office and has only frayed further in recent months as news outlets continue to cover the ongoing investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.

They don't, because there isn't anything good to say about Trump, so that chaps his ego. And he lashes out.

It's a boost to his ego to frame it as the Press being unfair and fake; and to believe his own greatness isn't appreciated. It's better for his ego if people are out to get him than it would be if he escaped his delusions and realized he's the problem.

That makes it something wrong with the rest of us and not him.

And Trump's fragile ego can't accept that the problem is him.

His family and associates have repeatedly made excuses for his behavior, or they have overlooked it, in hopes of gaining something

I won't pretend there is anything normal about Trump. I refuse to entertain the very notion that he is anything but a danger to people. No one is doing our country any favors by placating this toxic man-child. Stop pretending Trump is anything but what he is - a lethal poison to the very foundation of democracy. People need to get their heads out of their asses and stop telling themselves that America is somehow immune to the dangers of Trump. Because all evidence says otherwise.
