During a highly contentious and combative interview this morning on CNN’s Reliable Sources which began with host Brian Stelter asking how attacking CNN “makes America great again,”, White House counselor Kellyanne Conway criticized the network for focusing so much attention on Russia. She responded with indignation when Stelter pointed out that even though she was Trump’s campaign manager, much of what is in the news about potential collusion between Trump and Russia occurred before she joined the campaign.

Are you alleging there was active conversations with Russians trying to change the election results?” Conway asked. “Because very few people are saying that. Are you saying that or just trying to put it out there because you guys are so invested? What is there? What constitutional crisis are we facing right now?”

When Stelter brought up the Mueller probe and how many are concerned there’d be a crisis if Trump fired the special counsel and that Trump should want Mueller to get to the truth instead, Conway tossed out a snarky comeback.

“Isn’t Mr. Mueller and his band of Democratic donors doing that?” Conway claimed.
