(40,416 posts)It was always the best for both the kiddies and adults, just like the best of all animated narratives.
The best were always Rocky and Bullwinkle plus Looney Toons. The rest pale in comparison.

(4,291 posts)Including a number of WAV files I have downloaded onto my computer. So I'll be reminded of her every time my computer plays the Windows event, "Exclamation" : Thank You Mr. Know-It-All!
The WAV files can be downloaded from The Daily .WAV website and then personalized under Sounds settings.
And thanks for the video clips, A_H! Am I the only one who sees a striking resemblance between Fearless Leader and Vladimir Putin?

(12,154 posts)I've loved and admired June Foray's work all my life -- and that's a long time. Her voices ranged from sweet ingenues to lunatic old witches, and everything in between--plus a well-known Russian spy and a flying squirrel. I'm so grateful for her many contributions to the soundscape of my era.

(38,421 posts)I met both of them very briefly. Once in 81 or 82..at a film festival.(Fritz) and Chuck at a showing of some of his animated works..in 1991. I never met June Foray, but she has been mentioned many times by those talking of 50s and 60s animation. She is one of the greatest voices ever.
