'Let Obamacare Implode!' Trump Reacts to Failed 'Skinny Repeal' Vote in Senate

Source: Mediaite

by Joseph A. Wulfsohn | 6:02 am, July 28th, 2017

Early Friday morning, President Trump took to Twitter to weigh in on the Senate’s latest failed effort to repeal Obamacare.

His tweet pointed out that three GOP Senators, Susan Collins (R-ME), Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), and John McCain (R-AZ), joined Senate Democrats in their opposition to the “skinny repeal” bill. Vice President Mike Pence was on the Senate floor trying to keep the party together, particularly the Arizona senator who came back to Washington D.C. just one week after he was diagnosed with brain cancer. In the end, Pence fell short, resulting in a 49-51 vote.

This vote was a major blow to the agenda of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Republican Party, and President Trump, all who’ve campaigned to repeal and replace Obamacare for years. It is uncertain whether this will put the nail in the coffin for such efforts, whether they will continue this heath care reform battle, or simply move on to other legislation like tax reform and infrastructure.

as Trumpenstein said, knew he'd be the deciding vote before it was taken (on the news this a.m. it was said about 10-12 other Republiscum Senators breathed a sigh of relief THEY didn't have to show their no vote.)

Point is: I wonder if McCain voted no primarily as a way to stick it, biggly, to the orange-haired moron who denigrated him, his service, his beliefs time and again during and even after the campaign?

...but voting no on this bill is really sticking it to McConnell, not Trump. McCain has been trash talking this bill for a long time, and he finally voted his conscience rather than his party

Sure he hates Trump and wants to get revenge, so this might be his last chance to do that.
Either way he deserves our thanks.

Just sayin'

The threat of being primaried from the right is a big problem for the more "moderate" Repub senators. Once McCain had voted, they could vote Yes with a clear conscience knowing the bill had already failed.

He's going to do whatever he can to break the ACA - and Congress better watch him like a hawk or they will be complicit.

This is now Trump vs "the people."

Those ratfucking repukes have been doing everything in their power to kill the ACA any way they can, most recently through driving insurance providers out of the exchanges. They don't give a shit who they kill so long as they score political points.

This means that the laughing senator(s) from Nevada , and woman from West Virginia, the jerk from Ohio, and the idiot from Wisconsin, in the end didn't look in the mirror, they looked in the pockets of greed--------they shoved pre-existing conditions, poor, higher premiums and everything else associated with the McConnell Trumpcare and didn't give one bit of sh*t to there constituents, except loyalty to a leadership team, that was hell bent on taking peoples right to have health care, when the leader had polio and did not even sit down with the March of Dimes

Every citizens of every state should really look very hard at who was trying to kill them and who they were beholden too and it was outright greed........................F*ck You, you lost-------------------YOUR FIRED

I may disagree with the three republican senators that voted with my democrats on alot of the issues , but on this issue I want to say Thank you

McConnell balling that it was democrats fault.

These assholes did everything they now are trying to blame democrats for from day one when BHO got congress to take up health care reform.

They totally disengaged, and spent 7 years whipping their mindless drones into a frenzy over how horrible it is.

All republicans at every level of government have fucked millions of american over by failing to impliment it at the state level and or doing what they could to sabotage it.

After 7 years of making political hay running against THEIR GOD DAMNED VERSION OF HEALTH CARE REFORM, with the majorities in congress to come up with something else, they have jack, fucking shit.

And, they blame that on democrats and the republican god darned POTUS repeatedly, publicly has thrown his boy hands up said he wants it to blow up.

But, their pods will continue to follow their lead and blame the evil liberals and the "middle" will continue to chew their cuds and babble "they are both the same ..."

The meme lays the groundwork for their strategy: They hope their sabotage destroys Obamacare and then they will claim it was fundamentally flawed.

Republican Sen. Rubio snuck a tiny provision into a thousand page bill. That provision blocks certain insurance markets and sabotages Obamacare.

Expect a lot more of that.
