Trump Removes Anthony Scaramucci From Communications Director Role

Source: New York Times

BREAKING NEWS
President Trump has decided to remove Anthony Scaramucci as communications director, as requested by the new chief of staff, John Kelly
2:35 PM

WASHINGTON — President Trump has decided to remove Anthony Scaramucci from his position as communications director, three people close to the decision said Monday, relieving him just days after Mr. Scaramucci unloaded a crude verbal tirade against other senior members of the president’s senior staff.

Mr. Scaramucci’s abrupt removal came just 10 days after the wealthy New York financier was brought on to the West Wing staff, a move that convulsed an already chaotic White House and led to the departures of Sean Spicer, the former press secretary, and Reince Priebus, the president’s first chief of staff.

The decision to remove Mr. Scaramucci, who had boasted about reporting directly to the president not the chief of staff, John F. Kelly, came at Mr. Kelly’s request, the people said. Mr. Kelly made clear to members of the White House staff at a meeting Monday morning that he is in charge.

It was not clear whether Mr. Scaramucci will remain employed at the White House in another position or will leave altogether.

I do wonder how long his new Chief of Staff will last. The general is going to expect, or expect to impose - a rather strong and rigid chain-of-command. Getting rid of Scaramucci went more swiftly than I expected. I wonder if Jared and Ivanka will be included in that? I can't imagine they'll be too happy about having to go through somebody to get to Daddy. If push comes to shove, wonder who will be shoved?

Trump had asked Kelly several times to take the job, & Kelly refused. For Kelly to accept, and being an orderly general and all, I'm sure he sat down w/Trump and clarified his duties & authority.

Trump is relying on Kelly to bring some order to the W.H., so he's willing to do what Kelly says...for now. Because what's been done so far isn't working.

Good for Kelly that he zeroed in on this vile excuse for a Communications Director.

Things might settle down for a bit, but if Kelly ever clashes with Jared or Ivanka by objecting to them bypassing him on WH business, or if there's a power struggle vs. Bannon or Miller or any of the other orcs, it will fall apart again. SCROTUS likes chaos and he likes pitting his staff members against each other. To him the WH is just a bigger version of The Apprentice. I don't see Kelly sticking around for very long; either Trump will fire him because of some clash with Jared&Ivanka, or Kelly will quit because Trump won't let him do his job.

Or more likely, infernal din chairs game

Not really was is expected from a "finely tuned machine" pretending to rule a nation...

I don't know in wich dimension these people evolve, but it is certainly one as far from ours than is the edge of the universe.

Even in New Jersey Scaramucci is considered far too mooch of a blow hard.
But that's not the firing I'm waiting ever so patiently for.
For me it's all about the yer fired side chat Trump has with my old buddy Jeff ! The big bon fire I call that! Back to Scaramucci, the truth is he sucks and for all the bad in that whats worse is he's a hypocrite who thinks he's a tough guy and drinks too much beer !

There's more churn going on in the White House than at an Amish Dairy Festival.

Who knew that most Burger King employees would have a longer tenure on the job than your average White House staffer?

Kellyanne Conway and Steve Bannon, they could be next to go.

Or does he have to go spend some more time with himself Bannon-style while his family divorces him? I hope Dierdre continues the divorce.

What a d-bag.

They should still do an SNL skit about him

The tax savings far outweigh and pension or benefits. Can people unsell a business? He probably had a prenup, but if the alimony is based on his govt salary, perhaps everything changes after the divorce filing, so this might be a good time for him to go back to Wall Street.

Not recognizing that he wasn't experienced in W.H. Communications, and had a lot to learn. He starts off with a bang, like I'm sure he ran his hedge fund...foul mouthed, name-calling, backstabbing his coworkers, unprofessional, ignorant of the facts and the law (despite having gone to Harvard Law School?)...right out of the gate, before he was even officially employed.

He really was so wrong as a Comm Director, which Trump should have known.

I imagine this sort of thing is going on behind the scenes in the various agencies & departments, where Trump named a lot of people for posts for which they are utterly unqualified.

166. 'So Fuckin' Sorry To Hear About This Shit', Reads Outpouring Of Sympathetic Texts
Fri Aug 4, 2017, 09:36 AM
Aug 2017

WASHINGTON—Following his abrupt dismissal just 10 days after being named White House communications director, Anthony Scaramucci reportedly received an outpouring of sympathetic texts Monday from friends and family expressing that they were “so fuckin’ sorry to hear about this shit.”

“My deepest motherfuckin’ condolences, Tony, it’s terrible to hear you got shit-canned by these ass-munching cocks in D.C.,” read a text message in part, just one of dozens sent by old buddies at Goldman Sachs, current business partners at SkyBridge Capital, and extended family in New Jersey in response to his “goddamn bullshit” dismissal.

“Sorry to hear those bitches gave you the fucking ax, Mooch. That jackass [John] Kelly got no fucking clue what a good fuckin’ dude you are. Just know your mother and I always got your fucking back.”

At press time, Scaramucci’s New York office was reportedly filled with flower arrangements and handwritten cards lamenting that this was “absolute fucking trash.”
