In radio interview, Trump slams McCain, dings McConnell and botches a Senate candidates name

Source: Washington Post

In the span of a 15-minute radio interview on Monday, President Trump took fresh aim at Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), calling his opposition to legislation to overhaul the Affordable Care Act “a tremendous slap in the face to the Republican Party.”

He referred to an Alabama Republican Senate candidate by the wrong name — and later said that wasn’t a good sign for the candidate.

And Trump dinged another Republican, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.), saying: “Mitch is not, polling-wise, the most popular guy in this country."

The president’s comments came during a call into the “Rick & Bubba Show,” a syndicated radio program based in Alabama that airs across the South. The hosts bill themselves as the “two sexiest fat men alive.”

Are the only ones invitin' him to spout his nonsense?

Has he not wore out his welcome yet, in Alabama? I guess he's findin the southern hospitality in Alabama preferable to "those people" in DC.

Bless his heart.

... is the least of what they deserve. A swift kick in the ass in 2018 would be more appropriate.

I'm sure that's how Rump sees himself. He probably thought the show is about him.
