Trump In Full Salesman Mode As He Promises 'Historic Tax Relief'

Source: Associated Press

By KEN THOMAS Published SEPTEMBER 27, 2017 4:01 PM

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — In full salesman mode, President Donald Trump promised “historic tax relief to the American people” on Wednesday as he tried to build momentum behind his plan to overhaul the nation’s tax code and revive his moribund legislative agenda in Congress.

Hours after the White House and congressional Republicans released a framework for making sweeping changes to the tax system, the president told hundreds of supporters at the Indiana State Fairgrounds the plan was “a once-in-a-generation opportunity.”

“We’re doing everything we can to reduce the tax burden on you and your family,” he said. Passing the tax plan has become critical for a president desperate for a win.

The first year of his administration has been stymied by internal chaos and stinging defeats in his attempt to repeal and replace former President Barack Obama’s health care law. Short of votes, Senate Republicans announced Tuesday that they would not vote on the latest health care proposal.

is inflationary, irresponsible, and will cause the Fed to rapidly raise interest rates to fight inflation.
A crash might ensue. This is bad medicine.

Hell...reducing your Federal taxes ten cents per week would make that fluff statement a true statement. Just like the phony Bush tax cuts Dems brought out the muffler and the Lexus. Guess who was only getting enough "tax relief" to buy a muffler in a years time?

Great for the rich, not applicable for most middle-income people, not applicable for any lower-income people.

Sending this idiot, this carnival barker, this snake oil salesmen, to a state fair grounds in Indiana, conjures images of Music Man and does nothing to help his case.
He has all of the negative characteristics of Harold Hill and none of his redeeming qualities.

A man of questionable education, motivation and ability but without the soul and need for love that Harold Hill so desperately wanted and needed.
A complete bastard in it only for himself and putting some coin in his own pocket.

Trump is a evil Harold Hill selling things that don’t exist to the people of Indiana.

And any other programs that help people. The king of bankruptcy is doing what he knows best. When the country becomes bankrupt, they can nullify the constitution and makes us a dystopian hunger games type of country. Where the rich are the monarchs and working class become debt slaves.

Since he is only talking about reductions for the rich. Republicans ALWAYS are talking about the very richest. If you are one of the elite, fuck you, they couldn't give a shit about you, other than your vote.

By now, only the truly dimwitted or willfully ignorant buy the sh*t he's selling.
