Pelosi: 'We didn't win the elections, but we've won every fight'

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said in a new interview that Democrats have been successful in "every fight" since President Trump was elected.

During an interview for The New York Times' podcast "The New Washington," Pelosi explained the reasons she stayed in her role in Congress instead of leaving the government.

She said she expected Hillary Clinton to become president. "We’d have a woman president and so there would be a woman not at a seat at the table, but at the head of the table for the world,” she said.

“We wanted to have a woman president,” she continued. “But when we didn’t, then I couldn’t walk away and say, OK, just let all the men have the seats at the table that are making decisions for our country.”

of Representatives which does not have a role in the appointment process for Supreme Court Justices.

5. We did win the election!

The election of 2016 was stolen, as was the 2000 and 2004 elections. The only reason they couldn't steal the '08 and '12 elections is that Obama won by such a huge margin that it would have been obvious and there would have been massive rioting in the streets.
We need to take to the streets and take our country back. Massive general strikes and work stoppages. Make the 1% feel the pain that we feel every day!

Congress has passed quite a bit of legislation that wasn't fought. And as far as Mr Trump's cabinet and Court appointments, well, there hasn't been much fight there, either.

11. Nancy Pelosi is a Representative in the House, not a Senator in the Senate. Under her leadership...

...Democrats have held the line in the House. We are a minority party, yet both Schumer and Pelosi have leveraged their respective positions pretty powerfully.

7. IMO that is because their tactics for winning elections don't work after an election

Voter ID doesn't matter in Congress. Everyone has the same ID
Voter suppression isn't the same in Congress every member still get's a vote.
Rigged voting machines are useless. Every important vote is registered.
Caging not in Congress to late.
Social media can have a positive influence. With individual congress members.

The one thing that does work before and after election day are LARGE sums of cash.
Congress members are being bought.

Bottom line they don't get to steal elections one vote at a time in individual wards.... as they do on election day. And apparently the Russians still can't give floor speeches from the well!
