Trump compliments media coverage of his 'wonderful small donors'

President Trump on Saturday offered an unusual compliment for media coverage of “wonderful small donors” who have contributed to the Republican party.

“Can't believe I finally got a good story” in The Washington Post,” Trump tweeted. “It discusses the enthusiasm of ‘Trump’ voters through campaign contributions. The RNC is taking in far more $'s than the Dems, and much of it by my wonderful small donors. I am working hard for them!”

Trump typically has harsh criticism for the media, including The Washington Post, for what he calls “fake news” and negative news coverage of his administration.

The Washington Post reported on Friday that the Republican Party, known for often depending on contributions from large dollar donors such as corporations in the past, is increasingly raising money from small-dollar contributions.

the orange monster, that would make him NUTS! I was one of those small donors. I should just start sending $25 a month to the DNC like I sent to Obama when he was running. We all should do that! The trick is, it should be a special fund where it can be counted and kept track of so Trump loses to Obama yet again. Love love that idea!

The small repuke donor gave ONLY to the rnc while the small donor dem gave MASSIVELY to the ACLU, SPLC, planned parenthood, environmental organizations and on and on.
