WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Saturday said only one thing will work in dealing with North Korea after previous administrations had talked to Pyongyang without results.
Presidents and their administrations have been talking to North Korea for 25 years, agreements made and massive amounts of money paid, Trump said in a tweet. ...Hasnt worked, agreements violated before the ink was dry, making fools of U.S. negotiators. Sorry, but only one thing will work!
Trump did not make clear to what he was referring. The president has previously said the United States would destroy North Korea if necessary to protect itself and its allies.

(2,747 posts)He's gonna get us embroiled in yet another unending war. Why? The Steele dossier is getting too much press and apparently is believed by Mueller, etc. He wants to save his sorry butt at the expense of our lives.
He's dangerous. Where is Kelly????

(7,581 posts)if we attack N. Korea unprovoked. We will have become the danger to the world. Why do we understand that? The world has been very tolerant of our bullying and warmongering, but is we do this, I think that is at an end. China and Europe may decide they've had enough of our bullying.

Kelly knows Trump is crazy, he's not gonna let him start World War 3.

(50,557 posts)Either he's going to start a war and kill everyone on the Korean peninsula (which the US business community, as heavily invested in South Korea as they are, would NOT appreciate) or he's going to open a golf course at Majon and bankrupt the country once and for all.
Knowing this idiot, we could get either one.

(14,490 posts)My hopes at this time is that he's trying to use the same kind of bluster and threats he's always used against anyone who crosses him, or tries to sue him.
I can't believe Wall Street has not very sternly told him what the blow-back would be on the markets, and we know damn well the military has told him the consequences to the populace of South Korea.
Of course, none of that may matter to a narcissistic crazy man.

(54,370 posts)1.) Dropping nuclear bombs on North Korea that will release enough radiation to fatally irradiate half of South Korea (and the 30,000 American troops we have stationed there).
or
2.) Invading North Korea which will probably result in more than 30,000 American casualties as well as the destruction by the North of Seoul and most of South Korea's industrial capacity.
Will either of those two options "work?" I guess it all depends on what his definition of "work" is.

(9,670 posts)That's exactly what he thinks of you: "only one thing will work".
You're putting innocent Americans in harm's way with your thoughtless provocations.
Hard to believe that the USA would take the moral low road with respect to North Korea. Unfathomable in fact.

The rats are fleeing the ship in record numbers.
The only people he can claim are loyal, his family, are all under scrutiny.
His properties are failing.
So what do you think The Dotard has in mind?
