Hillary Clinton urged the country to "keep an eye" on Russian President Vladimir Putin, warning that he isn't done. During an interview on CNN, Clinton said the intelligence community has said in its reporting on the Russian interference in the 2016 election that Putin has a grudge against her.
Putin wants to destabilize democracies in Europe and the U.S. and undermine NATO and the European Union, she said. "Because he believes that that will then give Russia a real chance to be dominant, certainly in Europe and certainly along its borders," she said. "And that the United States, which he views as his primary adversary, will be weakened."
Clinton said she thinks Putin was successful in what he did during the 2016 election.
"Because the more we learn about it, the more we understand that highly sophisticated intelligence analysts tried to sow divisiveness within our country," she said.

UPDATE:
Clinton: 'Disturbing' that Trump talks about nuclear weapons, war with tweets
BY REBECCA SAVRANSKY - 10/15/17 10:28 AM EDT
Hillary Clinton said Sunday that she thinks it's "disturbing" that President Trump talks about war and nuclear weapons over Twitter.
During an interview on CNN, Clinton was asked about Trump's comments that the policies of past administrations haven't reduced the North Korean threat.
Clinton said the first option should not be "threatening military action" if policies don't result in desired goals.
Clinton said she was distressed by Trump's tweet earlier this month, when he told Secretary of State Rex Tillerson that he is wasting his time trying to negotiate with North Korea's leader.

So far, no consequences or any attempt to stop them.

(36,460 posts)Who's doing anything to secure our electoral process? I worry that the longer he's in office, the less likely this country comes back from this. One side respects rule of law, the other side flaunts its disrespect of it. One more SCOTUS nom by the GOP could be the death blow. Gorsuch is...retch.
