Bob Weinstein, who co-founded The Weinstein Company with brother Harvey Weinstein, has been accused of sexual harassment by a female executive producer of the TV series "The Mist."

Amanda Segel, a showrunner for the Spike TV drama, made the allegations in a report published today by Variety.

Segel said Weinstein repeatedly made unwanted romantic overtures toward her, including asking her out to dinner.

"‘No’ should be enough," Segel told Variety. "After ‘no,’ anybody who has asked you out should just move on. Bob kept referring to me that he wanted to have a friendship. He didn’t want a friendship. He wanted more than that. My hope is that ‘no’ is enough from now on."

I quit a job because of a supervisor I was afraid to be in a room alone with. I know exactly what sexual harassment feels like. I don't want in any way to sound like I'm dismissive, but there is a difference between sexual harassment and someone being annoying. Not every jerky guy is an harasser. If that's the road things go down then the real problem is going to get lost in a blur.

I hope I've made my point clearly.

... that if he was in the power position as Producer, then even if he was just being an interested, annoying, persistent acquaintance, SHE might've felt that her job could eventually be threatened. She might've been feeling sexually harassed even if he wasn't at all intending to coerce her as her boss.

There should never, ever be a situation where a "no" must be given. There should never be a situation where women lose their jobs because they won't fuck a molester or a predator. Never should these situations arise in business meetings or in the workplace.

These fucking idiots that are soooooo concerned with the bottom line and making money will fling cash out the windows because they don't want to keep in there pants and because they have no respect for woman.
