'DO SOMETHING!': Panicky Trump Tweets about 'phony Trump/Russia collusion' as Monday arrests loom

President Donald Trump got a later start than usual on Twitter Sunday morning, claiming that the GOP has joined him in his anger at Hillary Clinton’s supposed involvement in a dossier that still could prove damaging to the president.

According to the tweeting president, Clinton is personally responsible for the dossier that was initially financed by a conservative critic.

Writing on Twitter, Trump claimed, “Never seen such Republican ANGER & UNITY as I have concerning the lack of investigation on Clinton made Fake Dossier (now $12,000,000?),….”

Moments later he added, “…the Uranium to Russia deal, the 33,000 plus deleted Emails, the Comey fix and so much more. Instead they look at phony Trump/Russia “collusion,” which doesn’t exist. The Dems are using this terrible (and bad for our country) Witch Hunt for evil politics, but the R’s …are now fighting back like never before. There is so much GUILT by Democrats/Clinton, and now the facts are pouring out. DO SOMETHING!”

Once those first indictments and arrests start, Trumpy will find it impossible to fire Mueller. He will only be adding to his already impressive actions to obstruct justice. No one in Congress will be in denial if Mueller gets fired. The GOP Congress may be hell-bent toward defrauding the government, but they won't surrender all of their power to Trumpy. If Trumpy fires Mueller and the GOP Congress fails to respond, they WILL be surrendering all of their power to Trumpy.

But his "Do Something" plea is not directed specifically toward his Nazis. That may come later. Right now, it's premature, IMO, to use this tweet as justification for canceling his twitter account. If he narrows his audience to call on Nazis and white supremacists, it's time to act.

23. If Trump tries to fire Mueller here's what will happen

Rod Rosenstein already knows he'll be called upon when this plays out, Trump style.

Rosenstein will probably go ahead and fire Mueller as the special prosecutor. Mueller will no longer be working for the Department of Justice (executive branch.) However Mueller and his entire group will immediately be hired to work for the Senate Judiciary Committe in in which case he'll be employed by the legislative branch. Trump can't touch him at that point, and will have no way to fire him. It's the same job Kenneth Starr had when Bill Clinton was president.

The investigations will continue without missing a beat. All the indictments and evidence/testimony will not be lost. These guys know what they're doing. It will be the end for Trump - Checkmate.

They knew how crazy Trump was, even back in Feb./March.

The job Kenneth Starr had (independent counsel) doesn't exist anymore and didn't have anything to do with the Senate Judiciary; actually it was appointed by DC Court of Appeals. That office was created after Watergate and the Saturday Night Massacre, but the law was allowed to expire after Starr abused the position against Bill Clinton (1999 iirc). Position reverted to Special Prosecutor--which is what Mueller is--under the authority of DOJ. So that's one thing.

Another thing is THERE IS NO WAY the Republican-majority Senate Judiciary Committee wants to prolong this, or in fact do an actual, factual investigation.

NY AG may pick up the slack and the outrage over firing Mueller would likely be enough to get a new special prosecutor (only problem is who)...that's how we got the first one: the uproar over the Comey firing.

What would really be delicious is if tRump--foiled again!--gets disgusted and scared and quits, thinking that will put an end to the "witch hunt"...but it doesn't. Heh.
