Trump Promotes Fox & Friends, Trashes CNN in Early Morning Tweets: 'Loser!'

President Donald Trump is back in the U.S. after his 12-day Asia odyssey, and that means he’s back to watching his favorite breakfast show, Fox & Friends.

In a pair of tweets sent out early Wednesday morning, Trump first delivered a message to his 45 million followers essentially previewing the day’s episode of Fox & Friends:

But it does not look like the president will be hopping channels. In a subsequent tweet, Trump claimed that while abroad, he had no choice but to watch CNN (anyone who has spent too much time in a foreign airport terminal knows his pain). He added, with typical Trumpian flourish, that he “again realized how bad, and FAKE” the network is.

“Loser!” he concluded.

Jake Tapper responded to the president’s tweet bashing CNN on Wednesday morning, in the latest skirmish in the ongoing and never-ending war between Trump and the network.

Trump tweeted early Wednesday that he was “forced” to watch CNN while on his Asia trip, adding that he “again realized how bad, and FAKE, it is.”
