Senate candidate Roy Moore defended himself against allegations of sexual misconduct by arguing that real victims would not want their faces in the news. Ive represented many victims in cases such as this, Moore said during a Monday night campaign event. I have not seen one who wanted her picture posted on national TV, especially in a political advertisement. The truth is, this is not really odd at all. It is simply dirty politics and its a sign of the immorality of our time. Multiple women have accused Moore of making inappropriate advances toward them while they were teenagers. The first accusers did not come forward of their own volition, offering their stories to The Washington Post only after being persuaded by reporters. Moore denies having met any of them, despite one woman producing a copy of her high school yearbook signed by Moore.

Moore staffer physically confronts cameraman outside campaign rally

A campaign staffer for Roy Moore physically confronted a cameraman outside of a rally for the Alabama GOP Senate candidate on Monday night.

A clip shows a man later identified as Tony Goolsby, Moore's DeKalb County coordinator, approaching a cameraman and grabbing onto the camera before he was pulled back.

Connor Sheets, a reporter for The Birmingham News, tweeted a video of the encounter.

Man wearing Roy Moore sticker physically attacked a cameraman attempting to film Moore's arrival outside campaign rally a few minutes ago here in Henagar, Alabama. Another man w/ Moore sticker verbally assaulted a second cameraman, Sheets wrote.
