No immediate lift for Romney from picking Ryan

Source: Reuters

Reuters) - Republican Mitt Romney received no immediate boost to his White House bid by naming U.S. Representative Paul Ryan as vice presidential running mate, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Monday.

Some 51 percent of those surveyed said the decision did not change their opinion of Romney, a former private-equity executive and Massachusetts governor who will face President Barack Obama in the November 6 election.

Another 26 percent in the online poll said they viewed Romney more favorably after he added the 42-year-old Wisconsin congressman to the ticket on Saturday, while 23 percent said they viewed him less favorably.

The survey of 508 registered voters was conducted for Reuters from August 11 to August 13.

Politicos Mark Halprin said "their" latest poll showed president Obama and Romney "tied", and according to him "their" poll was more accurate than all the other ones last week that showed president Obama leading Romney! Of course from what I have seen of politico, and especially Halprin, they have been pushing Romney since day one!

Everyplace else I have been online today there seems to be one or two articles about how Ryan won't help Romney, or a list of negative things about Ryan. Romney needs to face the music, Ryan was a terrible pick, and the only reason was to please the "idiot" teabaggers and the Koch brothers. Romney need to make sure the money keeps coming in, and with Ryan on the ticket he thinks the teabaggers will not cause problems at the convention. Only time will tell on that though!

I'm guessing if Romney wanted all those big PAC donations from the Koch brother he had to go with their pick, which was Ryan.

or else!

Many of the media, especially Politico is constantly pushing the tie scenario like gallup...more money honey plus these media outlets are owned and controlled by GOPs.

Ryan also thinks he is GAWD's gift to WOMEN.
