Trump touts Rasmussen poll showing his approval rating at 46 percent

Source: The Hill

President Trump took to Twitter Thursday to tout a poll from a conservative-leaning polling company showing a majority of Americans disapprove of his job as president.

“Together, we are MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” Trump tweeted, alongside an image showing his 46 percent approval rating in the Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracking Poll on Dec. 28.

Fifty-three percent of likely U.S. voters disapprove of Trump’s job performance as president, according to the survey.

The Rasmussen poll also finds that 29 percent of likely U.S. voters say they “strongly approve” of Trump’s job performance as president, while 44 percent say they “strongly disapprove.”

How you answer generally syncs up with how the country perceives the country under the current president. In 2012, that would have been Obama. So, the poster said they felt the country was heading in the right direction and Rasmussen quickly disconnected the call, suggesting they didn't like the answer.

Man is told that everyone at work hates him with a passion
The following week, the man corners the bearer of the bad news with a big smile, "Ha. You were wrong." the man tells the other. "I polled the entire site. All 200 people who work here. Only 93 hate me with a passion. 76 merely hate me. 24 said they don't know who I am. 1 said he has no opinion of me because he's new. 5 people said they think I'm sort of okay. And one says he likes me. Shows how little you know."

"I'm a failure at connecting with most of the American people, and they don't like my policies. Isn't that just wonderful news? Make America accept a loser again!"

Only a complete idiot would be happy and boastful of something like that.

I always check FiveThirtyEight's website which is tracking all the polls;

[link:https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/trump-approval-ratings/?ex_cid=rrpromo|

Ever since the Orange Clown pulled the U.S. out of the Paris Climate Accords, he's been averaging mid 30s% approval rating. Before that, it was mid 40s%. His base is slowly shrinking as more of his supporters wake up with buyer's remorse.

On the Rasmussen site, Trump's approval rating is compared to every US President since Harry Truman. The time period is the first year of each President's term, and typically that's the highest approval rating for each President.

But Trump doesn't beat any of them ever, except poor Gerald Ford. Even Ford scores better than Trump except for about 3 weeks of his first year.

...of what? What has he done for them other than take away access to health insurance? And stolen tax money?

I know what it is.

29% of voters strongly approve of being able to laugh their asses off at all the weepy Libtards. Every day that Trump says another outrageous anti-constitutional, or sexist, or racist, or narcissistic, or delusional thing, and some intelligent and rightly outraged political, media, or entertainment personality comes out to decry it, They get a huge surge of dopamine in their tiny moranic brains. They 'strongly approve' of feeling that giddy.
