Stephen Miller had to be escorted off CNN's set after his interview with Jake Tapper went off the rails
White House adviser Stephen Miller was escorted off the set of CNNs "State of the Union" on Sunday after a contentious interview with host Jake Tapper.
Two sources close to the situation told Business Insider that after the taping was done, Miller was politely asked to leave several times.
He ignored those requests and ultimately security was called and he was escorted out, the sources said.
CNN declined to comment on this story.

They should have called the police and had him arrested for trespassing and impersonating a normal human being.

(11,257 posts)CNN doesn't interview David Duke or Richard Spencer. Miller really isn't that far off from either of those guys, and I'm not saying that as hyperbole. The only real difference here is that Miller works in the White House.

I don't know why they don't shut it down really fast when their guest go there more routinely.
Tapper's conduct today should be the rule - not the exception - for all media.
I'm tired of hearing the broken record on BS talking points.

I also read the comments after I saw the Tapper/Miller interview on You Tube. I am scared to death right now. Half of the comments thought that Miller "owned" and "destroyed" Tapper and said CNN is fake news. A third thought he was on drugs, obviously they haven't seen him ever or else they would know this is how he really is and can't be excused for "being on drugs". We have a scary future ahead of us if this is what the US is really thinking. YIKES and OH SHIT! We must do whatever we can between now and the midterms. Do at least one thing every day to fight for our country. Michael Moore's list is easy and doable!

The 24 most grotesque lines from Jake Tapper's Stephen Miller interview
Chris Cillizza
Analysis by Chris Cillizza, CNN Editor-at-large
CNN)White House senior adviser Stephen Miller was by turns combative and obsequious in an interview Sunday with CNN's Jake Tapper -- veering from savaging former ally Steve Bannon and author Michael Wolff to lauding President Donald Trump's intelligence and political savvy.
It was something to behold. Below are the most memorable Miller lines from an epic back-and-forth. (It's worth watching the whole thing!)
1. "Steve Bannon's eloquence in that description notwithstanding, it's tragic and unfortunate that Steve would make these grotesque comments."
OK, I get what Miller is going for in condemning Bannon's comments to Wolff. But, this is not a tragedy in any way, shape or form. Also, "grotesque"? Sort of an odd word choice.
2. "I also will say that the author is a garbage author of a garbage book."
Garbage author! Garbage book!
READ THE REST, IT IS REALLY FUNNY.

(1,996 posts)He could not stop talking bigly because he was so smart. It was Covfefe that drove him off that set. Sad! Bannon smart guy with Trump, not smart guy without Trump, so much had to be said because things had to be said to the fake news covfefe show. Sad that things couldn't be said. But it does not matter. Bigger and bigger, better and greater, Miller will say more things on longer running show, watch it, learn so much, get tired of learning so much.

The White House deployed Stephen Miller, a top Trump adviser with strong connections to white nationalism, to defend Donald Trump against allegations that he is unfit for the presidency. It was a trainwreck.
Miller spent minutes denying the claim, raised in Michael Wolffs book Fire and Fury, that Trump himself met with a Russian lawyer who claimed to have dirt on Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton then Miller admitted that he as no knowledge of anything to do with that meeting.
He repeatedly called Trump a political genius and defended a Twitter rant in which the president claimed to be a very stable genius. CNN host Jake Tapper rebutted any suggestion that Trump is a political genius by pointing out that Trumps approval ratings are in the 30s.
Miller claimed that Stephen Bannons role in the Trump White House has been greatly exaggerated. Bannon held the position of chief strategist and was, until recently, one of Trumps top advisers though Trump has tried to distance himself from Bannon after Wolff published the former top advisors critical comments about the president.
