House Intel Dem: Lewandowski breaking his pledge to answer questions

Corey Lewandowski, President Trump's former campaign manager, is refusing to appear before the House Intelligence Committee after pledging to return to answer questions in the panel's ongoing Russia probe, according to the committee's top Democrat.

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), the ranking Democrat on the committee, is accusing the White House of interfering with the investigation by limiting witnesses."Yesterday, the committee was informed by counsel for Corey Lewandowski that he would be refusing to reappear before the committee to testify any further, despite an earlier pledge to do so," Schiff said in a statement on Wednesday.

"Lewandowski had earlier likewise refused to discuss the period following his departure from Trump's campaign," he added.

Schiff expressed concern about a "developing pattern" in which former Trump campaign aides like Lewandowski and former White House chief strategist Stephen Bannon have refused to answer questions.

They will refuse to answer questions. They'll refuse to appear when issued a subpoena. A court may or may not hold them in contempt and there won't be a penalty if they do. We are in uncharted, shark infested waters. The traitors are winning at the moment.

they flipped to muehler and don't want to much up muehlers probe. There are strong indications that is why bannon won't appear. HE has a meeting with muehler next week and doesn't want trump to backstab him over his testimony.
