Police: 4 shot at Cedar Park Wal-Mart; suspect in custody
Source: The Statesman
Multiple people have been hospitalized this morning after a shooting in the parking lot of a Wal-Mart in Cedar Park, police said.
An unidentified suspect is in custody following what police described as an altercation that occured about 4:30 a.m. in the parking lot of the store off U.S. 183 and FM 1431.
The store is shut down, but thats Wal-Marts doing, until our investigation in the parking lot is done, said Cedar Park Police Capt. Mike Harmon.
Harmon said police were unsure how many victims were hospitalized or how the altercation began. No store employees were injured or involved, Harmon said.

Clearly Texas doesn't have enough guns. They need to loosen those restrictive laws.

(7,349 posts)If those 4 people had guns, they could have each shot 4 people! Who in turn could each shoot 4 people, and so on, and so on, and so on.
It will never end.

Betcha $20 this is gang related.
Explain to me please, how taking guns away from, or restricting in any way, lawful gun owners will alleviate the gang problem.

There are multitude of possibilities.
The world doesn't shut down between sun-set and sun-rise. I think I've mentioned this before on D.U.

(2,284 posts)I have noticed with the last few multiple shooting the guns used have not been identified. They weren't identified at this site and I have not seen what guns were used at the church in WI.
Is this an attempt to protect the reputations of assault weapons?

(26,602 posts)As to your question, I really doubt it. I just don't see any possibility that there's a media-wide effort to control language, with the aim of benefiting gun-rights (i.e. anti-AWB) advocacy...

But, you could turn the responsibility over to The Greeter. He's already on the payroll and standing in the front entrance anyway!
