Apparently, absence has made Vanessa Trumps heart go yonder.

Donald Trump Jr. and his wife of 12 years are struggling to keep their marriage together, and friends say divorce is imminent, according to a report from Page Six.

The problems have been there for a long time, the couple had hoped to stay together during the presidents time in office, but it is getting harder to resolve their issues. Hes never there, one source said.

Don Jr., 40, President Trumps eldest child, and his younger brother Eric, 34, have been tasked to run the family empire during their fathers time in the White House. Don Jr.s many business trips are proving to be a strain on his family.

Better split now before assets are seized. Lets see how quickly this divorce happens and if there is a quibble over asset distribution. That will be a huge clue as to how much she knows and how much they are able to divert to her.

it was known as conveyance ... if a spouse has a terrible auto accident and expects to be sued, transfer assets to the other spouse.
I don't think courts view that too favorably anymore.

But really I don't know if it could be a successful strategy under guise of divorce or separation.

They have kids. They've been married a while. They're in the W.H. (unusual to get divorced during a stint in the W.H.). Highly unusual to get divorced right at the time he may be indicted for laundering or fraud or whatever.
